View and modify provider compatibility

Different providers offer different options, and in the Options section, you can see the providers' association to specific options. You can set provider compatibility as well.

View options offered by providers:

1. Go to Configuration > Administration > Options.
2. Select the option entry. The option's record opens on the Details pane.
3. Select the Available Providers tab. A list of providers opens.

4. To see the precise service types compatible with the option as offered by these highlighted providers, click on the provider's name in the list.

   Cimpl displays all the compatible service types for that option, and, if the option is active in the provisioning (self-service).

Set provider compatibility for options:

1. Select the option’s entry. The option's record opens on the Details pane.
2. Select the Available Providers tab. A list of providers opens.
3. Select a provider. A list of the compatible service types offered by the provider opens.
4. Select or clear the service types that you want to include in your option entry.

5. If the service type or option combination is used in the Self-Service ordering, check off Self-Provisioning enabled.

   Your changes are saved automatically when selected or deselected.
